Meet Monchi, a playful 9-month-old Chihuahua mix who weighs about 13 pounds and is still growing! This goofy boy loves to play hide-and-seek with his ball and has a happy, confident personality. He's a social butterfly who loves everyone he meets and is always eager to say hello on walks. Monchi has settled into his foster home beautifully, enjoying both cuddle time and playtime with his toys and canine friends. He's got typical puppy energy and loves to zoom around, but he also does well on longer walks and joins his foster for daily adventures.
Ideal Home
Monchi would thrive in a home that can provide him with plenty of opportunities to socialize with other dogs. A resident dog or a family who can commit to regular dog park visits, daycare, or doggy playdates would be ideal to help him learn the ropes and continue his socialization journey.

Monchi is a dog from Puerto Rico and will need humans who are very committed to his socialization as he adjusts to a new environment.
Training & Support
Monchi is making great progress with his training! He walks nicely on leash, especially when following his foster brother's lead, and is learning basic commands. He's also great in his crate, sleeping through the night and remaining calm when left alone. Continued training, regular exercise, and opportunities to share his joyful spirit will help him succeed.
