Storm is a delightful female terrier mix who arrived at the shelter as an owner surrender and is now eagerly awaiting her fresh start in a loving home. She can be a bit reserved when meeting new people, but with patience and consistency, she blossoms into a wonderfully affectionate companion who loves to snuggle with her favorite humans. Storm is a smart cookie, knowing cues like "sit" and "come," and she truly thrives in a calm and structured environment where a predictable routine helps her feel secure and confident.

Ideal Home

Storm would do best as the only dog in an adult-only home. She needs experienced, dog-savvy adopters who understand positive reinforcement and management techniques to help her feel safe and secure, especially around her food, toys, and bed.

Ongoing Health

Storm is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. No food or resource guarding has been observed during her time at the shelter.

Training & Support

Storm has a history of guarding food, toys, and her bed in her previous home. She will need adopters who can provide calm leadership and consistent guidance to help her continue to build trust and confidence.
