Betty

Betty is a precious little dachshund mix weighing just 12 pounds, and we believe she is around 8 years old. It's clear Betty has likely spent much of her life being used for breeding, and we are beyond grateful those days are now behind her. She came to us through a private rescuer after it was discovered her previous family no longer wanted her, something we simply cannot imagine, because Betty is pure sweetness. This darling girl is cuddly, gentle, and happiest when curled up in your lap. She has a kind soul and a loving heart, and all she truly wants is to be someone's devoted little companion. Betty is ready to leave her past behind and spend her golden years exactly as she deserves – cherished, safe, and deeply loved.

Ongoing Health

Betty has been tested for Chagas, heartworm, and tick-borne illnesses. She is up-to-date on all core vaccines, and is on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. She has also been regularly dewormed and spayed. A microchip has been implanted. Please familiarize yourself with Chagas disease, as it is endemic in the southern states.
