Sarge is an outgoing, playful, and affectionate boy with a big personality and an even bigger love for fun! He is smart, curious, and full of energy, thriving when he has opportunities to play, explore, and be active with his people. Sarge loves other dogs and is always eager to make friends, happily nudging them to invite them to play and enjoying games of tug-of-war, especially with dogs his size or larger. While he gets excited and may pull toward dogs on leash, he is not aggressive and does well with slow, proper introductions, being great at picking up on cues and backing off when another dog is done playing.
Sarge is a total lovebug with people, very cuddly, affectionate, and happy to greet new friends, though he may jump a bit when excited. He loves toys and proudly hoards them, lining them up one by one like treasured possessions. One of his cutest habits is doing a full somersault onto his dog bed after running inside. Sarge would be an amazing match for an active person or family looking for an adventure buddy.
Ideal Home
Sarge has a moderate to high energy level and would do best in an active home that can provide daily walks, hikes, playtime, and mental stimulation. A fenced yard would be a big bonus, but he could also thrive with a family committed to keeping him exercised. Older kids or dog-savvy children would be best since he can be jumpy when excited.
