Zena

Hi there! My name is Zena, but my foster family affectionately calls me Zoey! I'm a sweet terrier mix with a lovely blond coat. My beginning was a little scary, and I used to be afraid of everything – planes, birds, and loud noises. While I'm still a bit shy around vehicle sounds and find the outside world a little intimidating, I'm making great progress! I'm a pro at using my kennel and am already house-trained. Walking on a leash is also something I'm getting much better at! I'm hoping to find my forever family soon and can't wait to meet you!

Ideal Home

I would absolutely thrive in a home with another confident dog who can show me the ropes, especially when it comes to going in and out of the house. A securely fenced-in yard would be a wonderful bonus to help me feel safe and explore. Most importantly, I need a very patient and understanding family who is willing to help me work through my nervousness.

Training & Support

I’m getting much better at leash walking, and I’m already house-trained and use my kennel with ease. I just need a little extra love and patience as I continue to gain confidence in the world around me.
