Luther is a sweet, silly, high-energy pup with a heart full of love and a personality that will keep you smiling. With his bouncy floppy ears and playful spirit, he's ready to find a forever home that will enjoy both his zoomies and his snuggles. He's a curious, playful, smart, silly, and affectionate 1-year-old, neutered male Staffordshire Terrier mix who weighs 55 pounds. Luther loves to play fetch and tug, and enjoys spending time with his humans, especially when belly scratches are involved. He's generally good with other dogs, calmly allowing them to sniff him and engaging in respectful play. He has also shown gentleness with children as young as 6 and has ignored cats he's met. Luther is house-trained and settles well in his crate when left alone for short periods. He doesn't exhibit resource guarding.
Ideal Home
Luther would thrive in an active home that can provide him with regular exercise and continued guidance. While a backyard would be a bonus for his zoomies, daily walks and playtime are also sufficient. He is adaptable to various living situations, from apartments to houses. If he is the only dog in the home, potential adopters will need to explain their plan for his socialization.

Training & Support
Luther is house-trained and sleeps in his crate, settling within a few minutes after a brief protest. He is still learning what is and isn't a toy, so he shouldn't be left loose in the house unsupervised yet. While he walks well on leash with another dog, he can be somewhat barky when seeing other dogs, though this can improve with training. He is still gaining confidence with getting in and out of cars.
