Ishmael

Ishmael is a happy, sweet boy with the biggest head you have ever seen! He is 90 lbs of love and a world-class snuggle buddy! Ishmael bonded right away to his foster family and loves leaning against his humans to get scratches behind the ear or a belly rub. He loves sitting next to his foster mom, usually on her feet, while she works at her desk in the mornings. He wants nothing more than to be with his people and will be an excellent work-from-home coworker! It's hard not to love on his GIANT HEAD! He takes kisses as much as he gives them. He is super sweet and most interested in being a 90lb lap dog! He wants to be where you are and will literally lay on any part of your body he can because he just wants to be close to you. He would probably make a great adventure buddy too, because he loves to explore EVERYTHING! He's the sweetest boy and deserves a home where he gets lots of love because he's a lover too.

Training & Support

Ishmael is very smart and trainable. He is 100% housetrained, knows sit, lay down, and shake. He could use some further work on his leash manners, but he corrects quickly and will walk well when held close to your hip. He is very good with other dogs. He loves food but will wait quietly while you eat at the table. He doesn't beg, but his big head is always there watching you!
