Hattie is a cuddly, good-natured girl who's happiest curled up with her people. Her little snorts, grunts, and snores (especially when she's getting cozy or enjoying a good scratch) are guaranteed to make you smile every day. A true snuggle bug, Hattie loves to tuck herself in close, often burrowing her nose under your arm or leg. She even uses her plush toys as pillows, which is as adorable as it sounds. She's also a big fan of food and has lovely manners, patiently waiting when it's mealtime. Hattie has made wonderful progress in her foster home and continues to grow more confident every day. She's ready to bring her warmth and cozy companionship to a home of her own.
Ideal Home
Hattie prefers to be free-roam to a doggy-proofed area as opposed to a crate. She is happiest as the center of attention and does best without other dogs in the home. We are unsure of her compatibility with cats, but recommend a slow introduction with a way to separate the home for each pet. Hattie has not been tested with children and may need a gradual introduction to younger family members.
Ongoing Health
Hattie is spayed and fully healthy! She is up to date on vaccines and microchipped.
Training & Support
Hattie will benefit from continued training. She tends to bark, pull, and jump on leash towards other dogs and people, so she would benefit from a calm neighborhood.
