Rona

Rona is a sweet 5-year-old German Shepherd mix who found herself here after her family's youngest child developed dog allergies. She misses the comfort of a home and is confused about why she's in a kennel. Rona absolutely adores people and will happily roll over for belly rubs. She's an energetic girl who is eager to learn and please. She's motivated by treats and has a love for squeaky toys! Rona would also make a great travel buddy and enjoys car rides, keeping her human company.

Ideal Home

Rona lived with another dog previously, and while she has met dogs here at the shelter, it's been a bit of a hit-or-miss situation. We will definitely arrange a meet-and-greet here at the shelter to see if she can be your next furry companion. Due to her prey drive, Rona should not be in a home with cats or small animals. We also recommend a higher fence for her yard, as she's likely to chase squirrels and rabbits. We don't recommend leaving her unattended in the yard.

Rona is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Rona is house-trained. She's eager to learn and please and is treat and toy motivated.
