About OLSA

Sweet Olsa is about eight years old and weighs around 43 pounds. She is a quiet girl most of the time, except when she's encouraging her bonded companion, Falcon, to play! They were found together and are very attached, so they need to be adopted as a pair. Olsa and Falcon have been in foster care for several months and are doing very well. They love going on walks and are happy to just hang out afterward; Olsa isn't fit enough for strenuous exercise like hiking. They are crate trained, love car rides, and are housebroken. They are gentle with children and do well with other dogs, but seemed scared when they met a cat. Olsa is a bit shy when she first meets people, so she needs a patient adopter who will give her time to warm up. She can be frightened by new or sudden sounds and may pull sharply on the leash when startled, though she walks beautifully otherwise.

Ideal Home

Olsa and Falcon need a home with a secure yard and a patient family who will let them settle in and build trust at their own pace. They are not a good fit for homes where they might be exposed to cats.

Ongoing Health

No specific health conditions are mentioned in the listing.

Training & Support

Olsa is shy with new people and can be startled by loud noises, which may cause her to pull on the leash. She will need multiple meetings with potential adopters to warm up, and a gradual transition to a new home.
