Meet Willow!

Willow is a stunning 2-year-old Chessie mix with a loyal heart and deep devotion to her people. Once she bonds with you, she becomes the kind of dog who wants to be by your side for everything—whether it’s a walk, a hike, or relaxing together at home. Willow is incredibly smart and eager to please. She already knows many obedience commands, is crate-trained, house-trained, and respectful in the home. She loves fetch, outdoor adventures, and soaking up affection, especially back scratches! Willow walks well on leash with a confident, experienced handler and has made great progress in foster care.

Ideal Home

Willow would thrive in an adult-only home (or with kids 13+). She may do best as the only pet or with well-matched dogs and slow introductions. Because she can be fearful when encountering other dogs on leash, she’ll do best with an adopter willing to continue building her confidence out in the real world.

Training & Support

Willow is house-trained and crate-trained, and knows many obedience commands. She walks well on leash with a confident, experienced handler. To help set Willow and her adopter up for success, a professional training session for Willow and her new family will be funded.

Transporation
