Lex is the epitome of a good time! She's a bouncy, playful dog who is loving of everyone and excited to make new friends, whether they have two legs or four. She knows how to have fun no matter where she is. When she first arrived, she ran up with a wagging tail and a huge smile, immediately showering everyone with affection. Lex is the queen of zoomies, kisses, and tug-of-war. She plays hard with other dogs, full of energy, and is a pit bull and cattle dog mix with beautiful cattle spotting and adorable pointed ears. Lex is 56lbs of pure happiness and did great in playgroup, enjoying long play sessions with most dogs and especially thriving with confident female dogs who enjoy a robust play style. She could do great in a home with male or female dogs, but seems to prefer the ladies. Just be prepared for them to play all day long!
Ideal Home
Lex needs a home with a yard and an active owner who is familiar with cattle dog energy, as she is definitely a wild child. She would bring so much joy into a home. While she hasn't been kid-tested, we believe she would love children, and we suggest an older child who can handle her playful exuberance. Lex is a no-go for cats, as her excitement may be too much for them.
Ongoing Health
Lex has no known ongoing health concerns.
Training & Support
Lex's leash skills need some perfecting as she can pull a little when trying to greet new people. She is a smart dog who would train well with consistency.
