Meet Mocha!

This handsome 3.5-year-old Doberman/Golden Retriever mix is an 80-pound bundle of warmth, devotion, and affection, just convinced he belongs on your lap! Mocha has a stunning black and tan coat and embodies the best of both his breeds with his loyalty, intelligence, and playful charm. He's a joyful spirit at home, enjoying backyard romps, fetching his favorite toys, and playing with his smaller canine sibling. Mocha is also a master cuddler and a sweet companion ready to unwind after a good session of zoomies. He's already house-trained, microchipped, neutered, and knows helpful commands like "sit," "lie down," "go," and "go to sleep." His daily routine involves two meals, playtime, and plenty of love!

Ideal Home

Mocha shines with his family and does wonderfully with older children and familiar guests. He can be a bit cautious around new adults, so he'll thrive with a confident caregiver who can guide him through new experiences with slow, structured introductions. While he may bark at surprising visitors, he has never bitten, showing more bark than bite. He would do best in a calm home with thoughtful management during greetings and transitions. He’s not reactive or noisy on walks, just strong and eager when curious about other dogs.

Mocha is house-trained, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Mocha can pull on the leash during walks, especially when excited. A little leash training and daily exercise will help him become the best walking buddy.

Transporation

Mocha is currently located in Oceanside, CA. He will remain with his current family until a suitable new home is found.
