Meet Juice, a sweet and charming 4-year-old neutered Black Mouth Cur mix who weighs about 56 lbs. He has soulful eyes and a heart full of love, just waiting to find his forever home. Juice, who his foster family calls Joey, has been through a lot and is ready to settle into a calm, loving environment where he can be cherished. He's affectionate, loves to cuddle, and enjoys his toys. His favorite pastime is quietly being near his person, often resting his head and paw on your arm – a sweet gesture of his affection. Juice can be shy and wary of new people at first, but with slow, gentle introductions, he builds trust and becomes deeply loyal.
Ideal Home
Juice would thrive in a quiet home with soft-spoken, patient adults who understand that healing takes time. He needs a home where he can soak up all the attention, making him the only pet. A cat-free home is required as he is not cat friendly and will chase them.
Ongoing Health
Juice has shown some food aggression with other dogs, which has been managed by feeding him separately in his crate. He may still guard high-value treats, but this is easily managed by respecting his boundaries.
Training & Support
Juice pulls on the leash when excited and is working on this. He responds best to patience and kindness; harsh corrections can make him cower. He is always crated when left alone due to his love for chewing, and he sleeps well in his crate at night. He has had some potty accidents, but he does great in the car, though he might need a little help getting in.

Transporation
Juice is currently located with his foster family. Transports run every few weeks, and he will be on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time.
