Rancho

Rancho is a sweet and playful boy who is about 1 1/2 years old. He gets along well with other dogs and cats, and he was also good with the children he met who were 9 years and older. Rancho will need regular grooming to keep him looking his best.

Rancho's journey to finding his forever home was a difficult one. He was found tied to a short leash in the pouring rain in Texas, shivering and without shelter. Sadly, his previous owners declined to take him back. However, this moment marked the beginning of Rancho's path to a loving home. He is now safe and dry, and he's ready to experience all the love the world has to offer.

Ideal Home

Rancho would do well in a home with other dogs and cats. He's also been good with children aged 9 and up.

Ongoing Health

Rancho is up-to-date on his vaccinations and has been microchipped.

Training & Support

Rancho is a young dog and will benefit from continued training and socialization.

• Rancho's adoption fee is $500. This fee covers his spay/neuter (if old enough), transport from Texas to our foster homes, core vaccines, heartworm test (if old enough), deworming, and microchip.
• Your adoption includes a complimentary first exam at any participating VCA Animal Hospital within the first 14 days of adoption. VCA also provides limited health guarantee coverage (up to $250) for specific minor illnesses diagnosed during that initial 14-day window.
• We do not guarantee the breed or adult size of our dogs. The breed listed is often a guess based on appearance or personality.

Transporation

Rancho is currently in a foster home in South Texas. Transportation to approved adopters can be arranged.
