About Sandy Duffy

Sandy is a gentle soul who embodies the calm after a long day. She's a thoughtful and quiet companion, the kind of dog you might not notice at first but who quickly captures your heart with her peaceful presence. Sandy thrives in a quieter, calmer environment and settles in beautifully when given the space to approach things at her own pace. Once she feels safe, her presence is incredibly grounding – not demanding, just a soft, calming addition to any home.

She approaches affection slowly and steadily, preferring not to be rushed. Sandy observes and understands her surroundings before offering her trust. You'll know you've won her over when she starts choosing to be closer, following you from room to room, or offering a gentle head nudge. The connection you'll form with Sandy is deeply loyal and genuinely heartwarming; she becomes a comforting, easygoing shadow once she trusts you.

Sandy is polite and respectful with other dogs and doesn't go out of her way to play, but she coexists nicely. A calm canine companion could be a positive influence, but it's not a requirement, as she's just as content focusing on her person. She's also been respectfully avoidant with cats, showing a non-threatening energy that felines seem to sense. Walks are a great way for Sandy to connect and feel secure, and she'd do best in a home that values a slower pace, allowing her to continue building confidence without pressure.

Ideal Home

A home that values a slower pace and understands that love doesn't always arrive loudly. Sandy would do best in a calmer environment where she can continue to grow in confidence without pressure.

Ongoing Health

Sandy is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and on flea and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Sandy is not pushy or reactive, but she does prefer to take her time getting to know new people and is not rushed into affection. She has been observed to be respectfully avoidant with cats.
