Meet Russell, a magnificent two-year-old Great Pyrenees with a heart as big as his frame! This gentle giant, affectionately known as "Big Boy," is a classic Pyr – sweet, laid-back, and incredibly friendly. He arrived at the shelter as a stray, a bit underweight at 80 lbs, but is now ready to find his forever family. Russell is a tall, rangy boy with a beautiful golden sheen on his back and a head shaped like a football helmet. He's always eager to greet you with loving gestures and a happy wag of his tail.

Ideal Home

Russell would love a household with another playful dog to be his companion, as he enjoys a good romp with a toy bone. He is good with both dogs and cats.

Ongoing Health

Russell is fully vetted, neutered, and tested negative for heartworm. He is currently underweight but is on the mend.

Training & Support

This smart boy is already house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. He also thoroughly enjoys car rides and can happily ride for hours!
