Hello! My name is Crackle, and I'm about four months old. I'm mostly black with the cutest pointed white mask on my nose and have a mix of clear and black nails. I was pretty good at letting my foster mom trim them when they got a little sharp!
My foster mom says I'm a smart boy. When my brother plays fetch, I let him grab the toy and try to take it when he gets back (work smarter, not harder!). She's teaching me to not always take it from him, though. I love chewing on my Nylabone, but I also love cuddling up next to my foster mom. If you're looking for a cuddle buddy, I'm your guy!
I'm doing very well at potty training and haven't had an accident in the house after about four days of training. I'm also very good at crate training. I'm working on going into the crate for bedtime with prompts from my foster mom and I don't whine when I'm inside.
I am a little shy and timid, so it takes me a bit to explore new things, but once I've tried, I'm the most confident! For example, my foster mom's apartment has stairs I have to go on before going outside to potty. I didn't want to try them on my first day, but now I run up them faster than my brother! I also throw the cutest little whiny tantrums when my brother gets annoying and tries to sleep on top of me. Even though I'm timid, I do start barking when I hear someone around my apartment or when I see another person when I'm out to potty, but we're working on that.
