Dante

Dante is an approximately 8-10 month old Doberman mix with a heart as big as his smile. This handsome young guy was saved by good Samaritans after he was nearly hit by a semi-truck in rural Yakima County. Thankfully, he got a second chance and is now looking for a family of his own. When Dante was found, he was very thin, but with good care and regular meals, he's putting on weight nicely and thriving. He's a sweet, friendly boy who enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely love a canine playmate. Dante has shown interest in chickens but has not been aggressive toward them.

A home where he can continue to learn and grow. He has shown interest in chickens, but not aggressively.

Ongoing Health

Dante was found to be very thin but is gaining weight well with good care. He has been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped.

Training & Support

As a young dog, Dante is eager to learn and responds exceptionally well to training. He already knows "sit" and is currently working on "down" and "stay." Being highly food-motivated and eager to please makes him a wonderful candidate for continued training.

• We are offering "Foster to Adopt" options for local adopters, allowing you and your potential new pet to ensure you are a good fit before finalizing the adoption. Please ask your adoption counselor about this program.

Transportation

Dante is located in the Tri-Cities area. We can provide transport to approved adopters within driving distance.
