About Casper in CT - Adores Cuddles & Cheese

Casper is a handsome, snowy white boy with a heart as big as his fluffy chest! He came to us as a stray from Ohio, a little thin and in need of some love. Now, in foster care, Casper has blossomed into the most affectionate and people-loving companion. He greets his foster mom with smiles and follows his family around, just wanting to be close. His favorite way to start the day is by resting his big, gentle head on a loved one's arm or shoulder. If you dream of a giant white dog using you as a cozy morning pillow, Casper might just be your perfect match!

Ideal Home

Casper thrives in a home where his family is present often and happy to include him in their daily activities, whether it's lounging on the couch, going for car rides, or simply sharing the same space. He enjoys being outdoors and would love a securely fenced yard that is at least 5 feet high. He'd be happy with or without another dog companion. Casper would do best with someone experienced with large breeds who can provide him with the gentle, consistent guidance he deserves. Also, make sure the cheese supply is always stocked – it's a non-negotiable for this discerning gentleman!

Ongoing Health

No specific health conditions are noted in the description.

Training & Support

Casper is house-trained and knows "sit" and "come" on command. He can be vocal and pull on the leash when he sees dogs through a car window or on walks, so a confident handler who can work on his leash manners is important. He has a typical Great Pyrenees bark and will alert to passersby and squirrels. He's also a bit wary of loud noises, bicycles, and hoodies, finding them "super sketchy."
