Niko is a stunning 1-year-old, 55lb Collie mix with a brilliant mind, a gentle heart, and a playful spirit. He's incredibly smart, eager to please, and loves learning new things, making him a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys working with a smart, fun, and loving dog. Niko is a true toy enthusiast; his favorite treasures are squeaky toys, and he can happily entertain himself with a good game of fetch or playtime. He enjoys daily walks and activities to keep both his body and mind engaged. Once he's had his exercise and fun, he's content to relax and be a calm, easy-going companion. Niko is doing well with his crate-training and does very well when left alone for short periods. That said, if he knows you're home, he'd much rather be by your side. He loves being part of the family and enjoys spending time with his people. Niko currently lives with three other dogs and gets along beautifully with them. He's playful, respectful, and enjoys canine companionship. When meeting new dogs, he can sometimes get a little overexcited because he's so enthusiastic about making friends, but his intentions are always good.

Niko would thrive in a calm but active home that can provide structure, exercise, and plenty of opportunities to use his sharp mind. He is looking for a home without cats or young children.
