Meet Gemma June! She's a 48-pound Lab/Shepherd mix with a gentle spirit and a heart full of love. Born around October 2025, she's still a young pup with plenty of life, love, and adventures ahead of her. Gemma June is a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and soon shows off her sweet, affectionate personality. She enjoys the company of other dogs and has shown calm curiosity around cats, suggesting she may do well in a home with feline friends.

Gemma June would love a home where she can settle in and show off her wonderful personality.

Ongoing Health

Gemma June is heartworm negative and up to date on vaccines. She is scheduled to be spayed soon.

Training & Support

Gemma June is crate trained and continuing to make progress with house training.

• Due to the high volume of introductions/questions received, we ask you to submit an application. That application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue.
• The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
