Nala

Nala is a beautiful girl, just over a year old, and she's ready to find her forever family. She spent her first year with limited socialization, but now that she's with us, her sweet and affectionate nature is truly shining through. Nala adores being close to her people and will happily flop over for belly rubs. She's a livestock guardian breed, known for being protective, and she can be wary of strangers.

Ideal Home

Nala would thrive in a home where she can be a beloved companion. Due to her protective instincts, a home without frequent visitors might be best. She also needs strong, durable toys to keep her occupied.

Ongoing Health

Nala has an autoimmune skin disorder called Pemphigus, which causes crustiness and bleeding on the skin, particularly on her nose. She is currently being treated with steroids and medicated baths once a week.

Training & Support

Nala is still learning about the world and may be protective of people she doesn't know. Continued socialization and patient guidance will help her build confidence.
