Meet Bodie, a sweet Boxer X Lab Mix who weighs 26lbs and was born around February 3rd, 2026. Bodie's journey began in a challenging environment where she was found alone and starving. Despite her past, Bodie greets each day with a wagging tail and a heart full of love. Her original finder affectionately nicknamed her "Bodie" because they initially thought she was a boy, and the name stuck!
Bodie is a wonderful medium-sized companion with a personality that's larger than life. She absolutely adores people and thrives on affection. If you're looking for a loyal friend to cuddle with after a long day, Bodie is the perfect choice. Her calm demeanor and pleasant temperament were even showcased when she accompanied the rescue founder on TV to represent adoptable dogs, where she behaved impeccably! Bodie also enjoys car rides, is always up for an adventure, and would never say no to a pup cup. She's also dog-friendly and enjoys playing with other pups, making her a great fit for a home with a canine friend.

Transportation
Bodie is located in Houston, TX. Transportation is included in the adoption fee and can include pickup locations in nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360 and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
