Tony Stark

Meet Tony Stark, a super smart, high-energy, loving, and playful pup! If you're looking for an active sidekick, Tony Stark would love to meet you. He was found as a scared pup dumped on a country road in Central Washington and has been with us ever since, waiting for his great forever home.

Tony is friendly and polite to adults and older kids. While he hasn't been exposed to young children in our care, he might be a bit too bouncy for timid or very small ones. He would likely do well with kids who are kind and understand good dog manners. He also shares his foster home with several dogs and gets along wonderfully with them, enjoying playful interactions with well-mannered dogs of compatible size. However, he is not safe with cats or other small prey animals.

This agile and athletic boy has boundless energy and loves life to the fullest, especially hikes and playtime. He'd be a fantastic companion on challenging hikes or to cheer you on during your runs or bike rides. Once he's had his daily workout and mental stimulation, he transforms into the best snuggle-buddy, with a plush, soft coat that's a delight to pet. Tony needs a human who will appreciate his intelligence and trainability, as he genuinely loves to learn. He's not a dog meant for just hanging out in the backyard; he's exceptionally smart and is looking for someone interested in advanced training or who enjoys plenty of stimulating hikes, games, and adventures. He enjoys rough-housing with friendly dogs, hanging out with his people, exploring new places, learning new things, playing chase, enjoying bones and chews, and tackling puzzle toys. A secure yard is a must, as he's curious and can open unsecured doors and gates, though he doesn't wander. Generally, Tony is quiet, except for excited play-growls. He may bark at the door or if he sees something suspicious.

Tony's house manners are generally good. He's polite, house-trained, and crate-trained. He waits for an invitation before gently jumping up for a hug. Being young, he does have a few habits to work on, like chewing when bored. Providing structure and chew toys will help him avoid finding his own entertainment. His recall is excellent, and he walks well on a leash. He knows many commands, including sit, stay, come, back up, wait, leave it, kennel, outside, inside, load up, let's go, spin, and shake.

Tony has been neutered, microchipped, treated for external and internal parasites, and is up to date on vaccinations. His estimated date of birth is 6/15/2023, and he weighs around 55 lbs.

Ideal Home

Tony would thrive in an active household that can provide him with plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation through advanced training, games, and adventures. He needs a secure yard. He is not safe with cats or other small prey animals.

Training & Support

Tony is highly trainable and eager to learn. He needs owners who will provide structure and engagement to prevent chewing when bored. His recall is excellent, and he walks well on a leash. He knows many commands.
