Mimi is a sweet and resilient 5-year-old, approximately 38 lb, female American Staffordshire Terrier mix who is ready to embark on a new chapter of her life. She was found abandoned and underweight in Matamoros, Mexico, but her spirit remained unbroken. Despite her past hardships, Mimi is a happy, playful, and affectionate dog who adores human companionship. She's social with other dogs and can live with cats with proper introductions and supervision. Mimi is active, funny, and has a gentle, eager-to-please temperament. She's deeply grateful for kindness and is looking for a family to cherish her as much as she will cherish them.

- A home with a fenced backyard
- An active family that enjoys outdoor activities
- A family with a genuine intention to rescue a dog and an open mind about the behaviors of rescued street animals, understanding their need for protection and education.
- Experience in dog behavior and training, or a willingness to hire a professional trainer.
- High tolerance and patience for rescued dogs.
Ongoing Health
Mimi is up-to-date on all her vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and has tested negative for heartworm. She receives monthly preventive protection for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. All her health records are available.
