He's a Livestock Guardian Dog through and through, known for his intelligence, independence, and keen observation skills. Titan has strong opinions, a strict daily schedule, and prefers things done his way – which usually involves clean water, timely walks, and the best treats available. He's whip-smart and will keep you on your toes, but his routines are sacred and ensuring they're met will earn you his respect and unwavering devotion. Titan loves colder weather and finds great joy in snow, which he views as both enrichment and a tasty snack! He's a professional supervisor of all winter activities.
Ideal Home
Titan is friendly with respectful children around 10 years old and up who understand and can honor his need for personal space. He is not a fan of being climbed on or crowded. He is protective of his food and treats, so mealtimes should be supervised. He would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time, such as retired adopters, work-from-home households, or those with flexible schedules, as he experiences separation anxiety and forms very strong bonds. He requires a physically fenced yard to patrol and oversee his kingdom.
