Momo

Momo is a sweet Sheltie mix who is ready to find his forever home and live the good life! He's a bit of a fluffy guy, currently weighing in at 49lbs, and is working on a New Year's resolution to shed some of those extra pounds. Momo has spent most of his life as an outside dog, so leash walking is a new adventure for him, and so far, it's been a bit overwhelming. His foster parents are patiently helping him build confidence by making harness and leash experiences positive, always letting Momo set the pace. He's found joy in staying active by romping around and playing tug with his foster brother, and he would absolutely love a home with another dog to show him the ropes! Momo has quickly warmed up to his foster parents, though he can still be a bit timid and uncertain.

Ideal Home

Momo would thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard and patient owners who are committed to helping him continue to gain confidence. He would also love to have another dog friend to guide him.

Ongoing Health

Momo is a bit overweight and is working on a weight loss plan.

Training & Support

Momo has limited experience with leash walking and his foster parents are working on building his confidence in this area. He is still timid and uncertain at times, so patience and positive reinforcement will be key.
