A little about them
Hi, I'm Laverne—a happy, confident, spunky, and sweet puppy with adorable airplane ears, soulful eyes, and a mask-like face. Found as a stray with my siblings at a cemetery in Texas, I'm now enjoying puppyhood to the fullest!
I'm a medium-to-high-energy girl who loves playing with dogs, tug-of-war, chase, exploring, foraging, bones, and squeaky or crinkly toys. I'm smart, outgoing, adventurous, and affectionate, though my puppy excitement can make me jump up to say hello. I'm working on keeping all four paws on the floor.
Ideal Home
I enjoy people and other dogs and currently live with three canine foster siblings: a 14-month-old Lab/Bully mix, an 8-year-old Hound mix, and an 11-year-old Havanese. I have not yet had experience with cats or children. I could be happy in an apartment or single-family home with people ready to provide exercise, playtime, training, and plenty of mental stimulation. I may get barky while playing with dog friends.
Ongoing Health
I don't have any ongoing medical needs or special requirements mentioned.
Training & Support
I'm kennel trained and do well when left alone. I'm working on “sit” and potty training, and treats, attention, and encouragement help me learn.
