Bambi is a 3-year-old pit bull mix with a heart of gold and a very serious commitment to the game of fetch. She treats fetch like it's her full-time job and expects you to clock in! She's easy to leash up, but once you start walking, be ready - Bambi comes in hot with a strong pull. The good news? After a solid fetch session (or ten), she settles down and walks much more politely. Turns out, the secret to loose-leash walking is simply throwing the ball until your arm falls off. Bambi has impeccable fetch manners. She'll chase it down, bring it right back, and gently place it directly in your hand like the professional she is. If you get distracted? Don't worry - she'll politely drop it on your foot as a helpful reminder that you have one job, and one job only. She's incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves snuggles and kisses just as much as she loves her tennis ball. She did fine with dogs at the fence but made it very clear that socializing is secondary to fetch time. Bambi is also treat motivated, knows how to sit, and takes treats with a gentle mouth - basically, she's got both brains and ball skills. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, slightly ball-obsessed best friend who will keep you active and laughing, Bambi is ready to be your personal trainer (upper body strength required).
