Meet Cassie! This sweet girl is approximately four and a half years old and is thought to be a Pittie/Staffy mix. Cassie is an absolute sweetheart with adorable polka-dot ears, a spotted tummy, and a smile that will melt your heart. She loves to lean into her people for pets and affection, offering a calm and steady presence that makes any house feel like a home.
Cassie is a wonderful companion for adventures, enjoying car rides and walks where she can calmly take in the sights and smells. She's even a great jogging partner! At home, she's content with leisurely strolls in the yard, sunbathing, and the occasional silly zoomie. She knows "sit," "paw," and "lay down" and is eager to please for treats and praise. Cassie has a special fondness for children and has shown a gentle and patient nature around them.
Ideal Home
Cassie would thrive in a home that appreciates a loyal companion over a high-energy dog. She'd love a yard to explore but could potentially adapt to apartment living with the right family. She enjoys peaceful coexistence with other dogs, preferring a mellow male dog as a companion, or would be perfectly happy as the only dog. Cassie is not a good fit for homes with cats.

Cassie is up-to-date on all her vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple dewormings, flea and heartworm prevention, and is spayed. She has a microchip with free lifetime registration.

Cassie is a smart cookie who already knows basic commands like "sit," "paw," and "lay down." She is eager to continue learning and can be motivated by treats and praise. While she generally enjoys peaceful coexistence with other dogs, she may step in to supervise if things get too rowdy. A calm household environment will help her truly shine.

Cassie is located in the Greater Houston area, Texas. Transportation is available nationwide via our rescue run USDA certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pickup options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies to transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
