Lucky

Lucky is a charming, older Husky with a friendly disposition. He arrived at our shelter as a stray and has proven to be a well-socialized companion. He walks nicely on a leash and is unbothered by the presence of other dogs. Lucky is also very cooperative when it comes to handling his feet and teeth, and he's a gentle soul when taking treats, though toys don't seem to capture his interest.

Ideal Home

We recommend a home without cats and with owners experienced with Husky traits. Given his breed, we anticipate he may have a high prey drive, a tendency to be an escape artist, and can be vocal.

Ongoing Health

Lucky is a little overweight, so a consistent diet and exercise plan will be beneficial for his well-being. He has been neutered.

Training & Support

While Lucky is generally calm, it's important to be mindful of his Husky breed tendencies, such as escape artistry and vocalization. A consistent routine and appropriate enrichment will help him thrive.
