Rhodie is a handsome noodle boy, just around 1 year old, who is full of playful and loving energy. He was found 6 months ago suffering from mange, but thanks to love and care, he's now a healthy and happy dog! Rhodie is super affectionate and thrives when he has clear rules and boundaries. He's house-trained, crate-trained, and knows basic obedience. Rhodie loves his people and is eager to please, making him a fast learner with his food and toy motivation. He thrives with structure and direction and is excited to continue learning.
Ideal Home
Rhodie would do best in a home that understands he can be stranger-reactive and gets overstimulated when seeing people or dogs he doesn't know, sometimes leading to barking and pulling. This behavior can be worked on with time, consistency, and positive reinforcement, and he's already showing improvement. He walks beautifully on leash when there are no strangers around. Once a relationship is built, he is a perfect model and tolerant of everything.
Ongoing Health
Rhodie was treated for mange and is now healthy. All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on age-appropriate shots. The adoption fee covers vetting, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery.
