Jake

Meet Jake! This energetic 8-month-old German Shorthaired Pointer mix is looking for an active family to call his own. Jake is a sweet boy who loves to play and is great with kids and other dogs who enjoy a good romp. He's currently about 55 lbs and will continue to grow, so he'll be a larger companion. Jake's ideal home will be one that can provide him with plenty of daily exercise and playtime, as well as a schedule that can accommodate the needs of a young, spirited pup. He's not a couch potato and will need a family committed to keeping his body and mind engaged.

A home with a family committed to providing daily exercise and puppy playtime. Jake would do best in a home without cats, as he tends to chase them.

Jake is a young, healthy pup.

Training & Support

Jake is good with dogs and kids. He does tend to chase cats, so a home without them is preferred.

Transportation

Jake is currently in AL but will be arriving in Maine in early August. Transport to Maine is available.
