Dublin

Dublin is a handsome 8-year-old, 55 lb husky who is ready to find his forever home. He was microchipped when found, and the owner on his chip indicated they had re-homed him. The new owner stated they were unable to keep him contained and asked for our help in finding him a better situation.

Dublin is a sweet boy who gets along with everyone he meets and has a special fondness for his orange toy. Like many huskies, he experiences seizures that are well-managed with Keppra. He gets along well with other dogs, and while we've been told he's good with cats, we haven't had the chance to test this ourselves. He's crate-trained and potty-trained, though he doesn't require a crate and is not destructive when left to his own devices. Be warned, though, he's a typical husky and might lock you out of your car if you're not careful, just as he did to our foster!

Ideal Home

Dublin would thrive in a home that understands husky energy and has secure containment. He gets along with other dogs, and we believe he may be okay with cats, but this has not been tested.

Ongoing Health

Dublin has well-controlled seizures managed by Keppra. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, dewormed, on prevention, and recent blood work indicates he is a healthy dog.

Training & Support

Dublin is crate-trained and potty-trained. He is a typical husky and may exhibit behaviors like car-locking if not supervised.
