Ryder

Ryder is a striking 2-year-old German Shepherd Malamute mix. He was surrendered because his previous guardians felt they could no longer manage his behavior. While he initially presents as aggressive, we believe much of what we’re seeing may be rooted in fear and confusion from losing his home and being in an unfamiliar environment. Ryder is still learning how to navigate his new surroundings, and we’re hopeful that with time, patience, and the right person committed to working with him, he’ll begin to feel safe enough to show his true self. He deserves a chance with someone who won’t give up on him.

Ideal Home

Ryder would do best in a home without other animals or children.

Ryder has shown aggression, which may be rooted in fear and confusion. He needs a patient and committed person who is willing to work with him to help him feel safe and comfortable.
