Looking for a best friend who will greet you like you've been gone for years-even if you just walked into the next room? Meet Emmett, a 5-year-old, 21-pound Schnauzer/Poodle mix with a heart as big as his happy personality!
Emmett is the perfect blend of playful and easygoing. He'll enthusiastically welcome you home as if you're the most important person in the world, but once the excitement is over, he's happiest simply sitting at your feet, enjoying your company.
This handsome boy is house-trained, knows how to sit on command, and is a smart, eager-to-learn companion who will thrive with continued positive training. He's respectful around the house, doesn't get into things, doesn't beg at mealtimes, and has only managed to chew one leash-otherwise he's been a wonderful houseguest!
Emmett does well with other dogs. He can occasionally be a little "too friendly" with female dogs, but now that he's been neutered, we're hopeful that behavior will continue to improve. He would also be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention from his people.
Crate time isn't Emmett's favorite at first, and he'll bark or cry for about 5-10 minutes before settling down and sleeping peacefully.
