Mondo

Mondo is a stunning, active, and smart Australian Shepherd mix who's about 5-6 years old and weighs around 50-55 lbs. His striking charcoal grey coat with white markings and spotted legs is even more impressive in person! Mondo is up-to-date on all his shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He's a happy boy who loves to play and is very food-motivated. He rides well in the car and enjoys cuddling on the couch for movie time after a good day of activity.

Ideal Home

Mondo thrives with regular exercise, whether it's through walks, hikes, or camping trips. He is not suited for an apartment or as "yard art." He can be the only dog in the home or live with medium to large male or female dog friends. He would do well with a family with school-aged children, a couple, or a single person, as long as he's an active part of their daily life. He is not a fan of tie-outs or electric fences.

Ongoing Health

Mondo is neutered and has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Mondo is potty trained and crate trained. He knows basic commands but is not yet trained for off-leash activities. He's a quick learner and would excel with further training. While he had some issues with fence climbing at a shelter due to lack of exercise, this has not been a problem in his current foster home where he receives ample playtime.
