Sammy is simply so sweet! We can't get enough of this boy. We're thinking Sammy is somewhere in between part bunny and part couch potato. His little bunny hops are adorable, and you may catch him on the basketball court – we're sure the NBA could use someone like him! Sammy is probably happiest with a toy in his mouth. We're not sure which he's better at, fetch or tug-of-war, but you'll have to find out for yourself! Don't let his athleticism fool you; he would definitely cuddle all day long if you let him. He is friendly with everyone he meets, and he loves doggies of all shapes and sizes. Sammy is just a catch! Are you ready to meet the love of your life?
Ideal Home
Sammy would love a home with a yard to play in, or he'd be happy with a couple of walks each day to get his energy out. He can entertain himself, so he could really make himself at home anywhere.

Sammy is a healthy boy who has been neutered, microchipped, and is up-to-date on all vaccinations and preventative care.
Training & Support
Sammy loves treats, so future training should be a breeze! He is patient and waits his turn for things, like sharing a banana with his foster siblings. He has also learned to wait by the door before walks and does well in his crate. He does best with durable toys.

Transporation
Sammy is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. This includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
