Meet Sally! Sally is a professional cuddler and a love bug who believes personal space is overrated. If you're dreaming of a dog who wants to be as close to you as physically possible, Sally is the one!
Sally's past was difficult; she was found living under a trailer with her puppies after being neglected. She wandered the neighborhood searching for food, but kind neighbors helped her and eventually took her in. Now, Sally is safe in a loving foster home and her tough days are behind her.
Sally is pure, unconditional love in a 30-pound package. She is wonderfully affectionate and adores everyone she meets, especially children. She also gets along well with other dogs, provided introductions are slow and proper. However, she would be just as content as an only pet, as people are truly her favorite.
Like the smart cattle dog she is, Sally learns quickly. She mastered potty training and leash walking with ease. She's currently working on crate training but isn't a fan and is surprisingly good at escaping! She has been trustworthy in the house and has not shown destructive behaviors, so she may not need to be crated once settled.
Although Sally is only about a year old, she has an old soul. Her rough start has given her a calm, appreciative outlook. She happily joins in on adventures like hikes and road trips, but coming home to curl up with her favorite people is equally exciting. Sally has spent enough time wondering where her next meal or safe place to sleep would come from. Now, she needs a family who will love her as fiercely as she will love them.
