Shira

Shira is a beautiful Sable German Shepherd who has already had a litter of pups. She was found as a stray, but thankfully had a microchip. When her former owners were contacted, they revealed they had kept the puppies and did not want Shira. It's heartbreaking to think she was let loose and left to fend for herself, but we're so glad she's with us now and ready to find her forever home! Shira is super-friendly to everyone she meets and was a perfect passenger during her rescue ride. She enjoys going for walks and is eager to explore the world with her new family.

Shira would love an active home where she can go on adventures.

Shira is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Shira needs to polish her leash manners and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training. She gets along with other dogs, but we haven't had the chance to test her with large or small dogs yet.
