Meet Ember – the spark you didn't know your life was missing!
Ember is the golden-glow sister of Elli. Located in the Syracuse area, Ember is ready to find a family who's ready for a little sunshine, a little sparkle, and a whole lot of personality. At about 45 pounds and 1–2 years old, this gorgeous Australian Shepherd mix has a stunning golden coat and the most adorable little spot on her tongue that gives her just the right amount of quirky charm.
Ember runs on premium rocket fuel! When she's out in the yard with other dogs, she believes life is one big play-all-day festival. She zooms, she bounces, and invites everyone to the party, sometimes overwhelming her dog friends with her boundless energy. She's not aggressive at all—just a joyful, goofy girl who hasn't quite learned that other dogs occasionally like personal space.
However, when you take the dog crowd out of the equation, she transforms into the sweetest, most devoted companion. She's incredibly calm and will give you her sweet eyes. On a leash, she has fantastic manners, and one-on-one with her person, she's an absolute lovebug. Unsure in new situations, she'll look right back at you for reassurance like you're her whole world. She is exceptionally clean in her crate and does need some chews or toys to keep her occupied when left alone for a bit. If you sit down, be prepared, because Ember would happily climb straight into your lap and soak up affection for hours. She is extremely intelligent, very people-focused, and we truly believe in the right home she could excel in training, agility, or any activity that keeps her brain busy. Her current best buddy on the property is our favorite chill guy Penn, who seems to tolerate her endless enthusiasm like the patient gentleman he is.

Ember needs a home that appreciates smart, energetic, joyful dogs and is ready to channel that big personality into something wonderful. She wants a family ready to commit to her energy and bond deeply.
Ongoing Health
Ember has been spayed, is up-to-date on vaccines, and is on preventions. She has successfully completed heartworm treatment and now has a clean bill of health.
Training & Support
Ember has fantastic leash manners and is exceptionally clean in her crate. She does need some chews or toys to keep her occupied when left alone for a bit. We believe with her intelligence and people-focus, she could excel in training and agility with guidance.
