Meet Botas, a delightful 1-year-old retriever mix who weighs in at a solid 55 lbs. He's earned the sweet nickname 'Love Bug' because he's truly as affectionate and playful as they come! His absolute favorite thing in the world is a simple ball – toss him one, and he'll be happily entertained for hours on end.

Ideal Home

Botas would thrive in a home with someone who has experience with retrievers. He's got all the wonderful traits of the breed: he's energetic, intelligent, and has an infectious love for play. He's looking for a family that truly understands and appreciates his retriever nature and can provide him with plenty of exercise, engagement, and love. We recommend a home with children ages 10 and up.

Training & Support

Botas is generally friendly with other dogs, but he's a bit of a gentleman who prefers proper introductions. Taking things slow and steady is the key to him making new canine friends. Once he's comfortable, he's a loyal and playful companion!
