Moondancers Poodles is a small hobby breeder located in Lillian, Alabama with impeccable standards.  All of our puppies are AKC Poodles registrable and microchipped.  We offer Standard and Miniature Poodle puppies to many families like yours and will continue providing wonderful additions of lovable, healthy puppies for many years to come.  Many people like you seek Poodles because they are attracted to their physical appearance, and good temperament. Standard and Miniature Poodles live up to these expectations and usually exceed them. They tend to share their affection freely with many.  They form special bonds with the person who trains them or whoever might spend the most time with them but they never exclude anyone.  We at Moondancers Poodles,  have always been committed to this standard and are confident our Poodles will meet your expectations, 100%.  Every Poodle we sell comes Microchipped, along with AKC Registration papers, Certificate of Good Health veterinary records and a contract with written 2-year Health Guarantee. We are here for the life of the Poodle. We assure you that your Poodle will be the dog that you have expected and more. We test health, DNA and beyond OFA requirements on all our breeding Sires and Dams. We plan all our pairings carefully and breed for structure, temperament and betterment of the breed. We temperament test each litter at 7 weeks old to assure we have well-adjusted puppies. We spend time with each puppy daily and handle puppies often to acclimate them to touch and to get puppies used to sounds, sites, smells, and surfaces. We introduce potty training around 5-6 weeks of age using grass matts, timed feedings, and potty breaks. We introduce crate/kennels around 6 weeks to transition them to sleeping in a crate/kennel at night alone. This helps them transition into the new home easier. Our puppies are ready to go to their new homes at the age of 8 weeks.
