Meet Alice! This sweet 7-pound chihuahua mix, born in September 2019, is ready to trade her past for a future filled with love and luxury. Alice's journey began with hardship, believed to have been a breeder at a backyard operation. Thankfully, she's blossomed in her foster home and is now searching for a family to cherish her. Alice is a fun-loving girl who enjoys car rides, especially from her special console seat, and is a non-fussy eater.

Ideal Home

Alice deserves to be treated like the queen she is! She requires an adult-only home with no children. Due to her experiences, she needs time to warm up to new people and prefers not to have her face directly approached. She also needs to be the only dog in the household, as she's not fond of other dogs, especially if they're too boisterous.

Ongoing Health

Alice has arthritis, which means a home without stairs is essential. While her foster family uses a ramp and carries her for potty breaks and short strolls, she'll likely require more specialized care as she ages, potentially including pain medication, anti-inflammatories, or a mobility cart. For now, she gets around well, and her foster parents assist when needed.

Training & Support

Alice needs a patient and understanding family who will respect her boundaries. It's important to let her approach people on her own terms and avoid overly forward interactions.
