Tucker Teddy the Angel Eyed Cutie

Tucker Teddy is an approximately 1-year-old, 58 lb lab mix with the most adorable, expressive "angel eyes," a perpetually youthful face, and a charming little "bubble lip" he sports sometimes. He's a rescue, so his exact breed and age are a mystery, but his real-life cartoon puppy looks are undeniable. Tucker Teddy offers a perfect balance of affection; he's not overly clingy but enjoys leaning in for pets, curling up beside you, and quietly following you from room to room, offering gentle reassurance throughout the day. He thrives on being a part of your life without needing to be the center of attention.

Ideal Home

Tucker Teddy would do best in a home with a backyard where he can play and explore. He's also looking for a home that understands he needs a little time to observe and settle into new environments at his own pace. He was gentle and calm with a 5-year-old but might be overwhelmed by very chaotic, high-energy environments.

Ongoing Health

Tucker Teddy is up to date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and has been spayed/neutered.

Training & Support

Tucker Teddy is still gaining confidence and learning about the world. While he's made great progress, he can sometimes be a little hesitant with new things, like the vacuum. He would benefit from a confident, playful canine companion to help build his confidence and provide a playmate. He has met a resident cat and was respectful, and a cat sleepover can be arranged upon request.

Transporation

Tucker Teddy is located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. A transport surcharge of $87 applies. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
