Sunny

Sunny is a charming and intelligent 4-year-old Pug with a balanced energy level and a big appetite for treats and training! She was found as a stray on the streets of Houston and has truly blossomed in her foster home. Sunny is incredibly food-driven, making her a smart and trainable companion. She's already mastered her routines, including crate training, and has had zero accidents inside the house. Sunny is a social butterfly and gets along wonderfully with all humans, including children. She also does great with other Pugs and has shown a calm indifference to cats, though her foster family doesn't have cats to fully assess this. She's growing her fur back after dealing with fleas and is gaining some much-needed weight.

Ideal Home

Sunny would thrive in a home with a medium activity level, providing her with opportunities to stay engaged both physically and mentally. Her smart and food-motivated nature suggests she could excel in various activities or even embark on a career in pug therapy!

Ongoing Health

Sunny is heartworm positive and will be treated for this condition. She is expected to be ready for her forever home by early August, post-treatment.

Training & Support

Sunny has already mastered crate training and potty habits with zero accidents. Her intelligence and food drive make her an eager learner, and she'll likely pick up new skills and tricks quickly.
