Meet Susu Sunshine, a total sweetheart with the most beautiful big brown eyes, adorable floppy shepherd ears, and a smile that can brighten even the cloudiest day. One look at this gorgeous girl and it's impossible not to fall in love. She has a gentle, loving presence and a way of looking at you that makes you feel like the most important person in the world. We think Susu is around 2 years old and possibly a Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix. She is absolutely obsessed with her people and wants to be your best friend, adventure buddy, cuddle partner, and biggest fan all rolled into one. Susu lives for affection, whether it's booty scratches, belly rubs, or kind words. She met a teenager and was completely smitten, soaking up every bit of affection she could get. She already knows sit and down, is very treat motivated, and loves learning. Susu walks beautifully on leash, rarely pulls, and has not shown leash reactivity, making her a wonderful companion for neighborhood walks or outdoor adventures. While she enjoys being around other dogs, she prefers respectful canine friends and does best with calm, playful male dogs who understand personal space. She'll let another dog know if they're being too pushy, but she's fair and appropriate with her corrections. Susu is also happy focusing on her humans and would be perfectly content as your one and only dog.
Ideal Home
Susu Sunshine would thrive with an active family who enjoys hiking, exploring, camping, road trips, or simply including their dog in everyday life. She could also do well in an apartment as long as she receives the exercise, enrichment, and quality time she craves.

Susu Sunshine is located in Texas and can be transported to a variety of locations nationwide, including WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Pick-up locations for Canadian adopters are in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
