Stormy Belle is a breathtakingly beautiful, approximately 5-year-old Shepherd mix who weighs 52lbs. She's not just a pet; she's a "soul dog" – the kind of companion that feels like a piece of your heart. With her stunning black coat and captivating golden-brown eyes, she's sure to steal your attention and affection. Stormy can be a bit shy initially, but with a little patience and a lot of love (and tennis balls!), she quickly blossoms into a devoted shadow.

Ideal Home

Stormy would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard, ideally in a suburban setting rather than a busy city. She’s cautious in new environments but eager to explore with encouragement. While she’s done well with children as young as 4, she would prefer a home with older children (around 14 and up) who can better understand and respect her need for calm and personal space.

Ongoing Health

Stormy Belle is generally healthy. She has received all her vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. She has also been heartworm tested.

Training & Support

Stormy is a smart and eager-to-please girl who is a joy to train. She already knows "sit" and "down," responds to "touch," and has a good recall. She walks well on a leash, is crate trained, potty trained, and has excellent house manners. She's quiet and content to be in your presence, making her a wonderful companion for those who work from home.

Stormy Belle is located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA-certified transport system, ensuring safe and comfortable travel. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT).
