Hi there! I'm Smush, a 69-pound American Bulldog with a big heart, an even bigger personality, and just the right amount of goofy charm to keep you smiling every day. I absolutely love being outside, whether I'm romping around the yard, sniffing out new adventures, or soaking up the sunshine. I'm very treat motivated, so showing off the commands I already know is one of my favorite things to do-especially if snacks are involved! I'm a bit of a derpy guy at times, which only adds to my charm. I also LOVE my toys! Toss me a tennis ball to chase, grab a rope for an exciting game of tug, or let me proudly carry around a stuffed toy, and I'll be one happy pup. I'm looking for a home that's ready for plenty of playtime and has lots of toys waiting for me.
Ideal Home
Since I'm a big boy who sometimes forgets just how large I am, I'd do best with older children who understand my size and respect my space when I need a little quiet time.

Training & Support
When I'm outside, I might bark at strangers because I like to let everyone know I'm keeping an eye on things, but once I get comfortable with you, you'll quickly see what a sweetheart I really am. I'll happily stick by your side while you're relaxing on the couch, doing chores around the house, or walking from room to room-I just enjoy being wherever my favorite people are. When I get tired, you'll probably catch me sprawled out on the floor like a little frog, completely relaxed after a fun day. If I want some extra love, I'll rub up against you or gently back my whole rear end into you for attention because that's just my silly way of asking for pets. More than anything, I'm looking for a family that understands my boundaries, will give me lots of love, and is always ready for another game.

Transportation
Smush is located at the humane society. We are able to provide transport to approved adopters within 3 hours of the humane society.
